Immigrants in our own land

In Jimmy Baca’s poem he explains in the beginning how and what immigrants go through to get to the U.S. From asking coyotes to sneak you in to getting rid of clothes to wearing mechanic overalls to taking shots from the doctor being felt like if  you were something else, etc. When I think about those things, I deeply think about it because it’s amazing what people from all over the world do to be in/ live in a country they dont know. The only reason they came to the U.S was just for a better life, a better future, much more opportunities, much safer, etc. And its really sad how they’re treated badly and poorly by other people, EVEN BY OUR OWN PRESIDENT......
