Adrian’s masterpiece academy

To me i loved adrians presentation because i can really relate to it. Its all about inspiration when u want to do something in your life. If u want a job in what u really desire u have to push urself to get to the top, thats either in the business world, playing a professional sport, or getting ur phd, etc. Since im a barber which is in the business world barbers need inspiration to keep going and the best they can be. Since i was in wrestling its also all about inspiration and getting to the top, wrestling really taught me about failures and working hard. Pounds of sweat lost in a day, cutting weight, working out overtime, etc. My brother was a bodybuilder so he would listen to motivational speakers in the shower, on his way to work, to the gym, and i would listen to it 24/7. And i think that thats what people need in their lives when they don’t know whether to give up or not.

Fahrenheit 451 essay

Fahrenheit 451 is a well written book in the time period it was written by Ray Bradbury. In 1953 Ray Bradbury wrote this book and had predicted some things of technology that would happen in this time period that we are now. For example he had predicted what he would call "ear seashells" which nowadays are Bluetooth earpieces. He also predicted what he would call "Parlor walls" which we know nowadays as flat screens televisions. To me it's mind blowing  how Bradbury predicted this 65 years ago.        Now in the book, the government controls the citizens on their ideas or how they think. Technology is a way on how the government gets to control its citizens. Books are basically illegal in this dystopian society. Books are basically illegal because it opens people minds to the world and they get more ideas. And the government doesn't want that from its citizens. Which is why television and technology is a way to distract their citizens. It disconnects t

Music as literature

What I learned in todays seminar was that as someone said that music is like a story when you see the lyrics and it could be like a poem in a way too with a beat in the background. To me in my opinion music is art because i love music and i like a lot of types of music it depends on what i feel like listening to. Music to me detresses me and makes me vibe to it. So when i think about music being literature.....yes i would consider music literature mixed with art.

Immigrants in our own land

In Jimmy Baca’s poem he explains in the beginning how and what immigrants go through to get to the U.S. From asking coyotes to sneak you in to getting rid of clothes to wearing mechanic overalls to taking shots from the doctor being felt like if  you were something else, etc. When I think about those things, I deeply think about it because it’s amazing what people from all over the world do to be in/ live in a country they dont know. The only reason they came to the U.S was just for a better life, a better future, much more opportunities, much safer, etc. And its really sad how they’re treated badly and poorly by other people, EVEN BY OUR OWN PRESIDENT......

My Big Question
